Born and bred in Wellington, Jim moved to Melbourne in 2013 to begin his tattoo career. Over the past decade, he has honed his skills in tattooing, illustration, and composition while working in several high-calibre studios across Australia and New Zealand.

Harrie

Harrie, also known as Harriet or Wholesome Harold, joined us after relocating from Melbourne, where she began her tattoo journey.

Our resident cat lady and animal lover, Harrie loves tattooing colourful, mystical designs — think mushrooms, cats, whimsical ladies, and native flora and fauna. Her tattoos are bold and vibrant, with fine details and soft colour blends that bring each piece to life.

Sherlaine spent most of the past decade tattooing in Australia, most recently at her own studio, Spitting Ink, in Paradise Beach, New South Wales. She moved back to Wellington with her family in 2022 and joined the team at Union.

Piercer Will

Will has been professionally piercing in Wellington since 2017, completing his apprenticeship at Flesh Wound under Wellington piercing legend Hamish Robertson-Halley. He joined Union in 2021 and quickly upgraded our piercing and jewellery systems, improving the overall experience for every client.

Piercer Abby

Abby had been professionally piercing in wellington since 2022.

She has a passion for creating a friendly and safe experience, aswell as helping clients gain confidence and a sense of self through body piercing. She loves working with people from all walks of life.

Abby is open to all projects and ideas, especially creating ear curations and stylings. If your stuck for ideas abby is here to help using colour theory and firriest metals that suit your individual style and anatomy.

working under tPiercer Will, Abby aims to become an AUPP member and to continue growing her skills through hands on experience, ongoing research alongside conventions and conferences.

Scott

Scott has been tattooing in Palmerston North since 2013, primarily from his own studio, Main Street Tattoo which he opened in 2017.

He will be joining the team in January 2026 and his books are open.
