Icha – Handpoke

Icha is a Chilean tattoo artist with nearly 10 years of professional tattooing experience. Having recently relocated to Wellington, we’re excited to welcome her to the team.

She specialises in hand-poke tattooing, a traditional technique performed entirely by hand without the use of a tattoo machine. This method is often gentler on the skin, can be less painful for many clients, and typically supports a smoother healing process.

Drawing from her background in visual arts and new media, Icha’s work is inspired by the natural world, geometric forms, and the connection between the micro and macro worlds through precise, soft and symbolic designs that feel both delicate and intentional.
