Born and bred in Wellington, Jim moved to Melbourne in 2013 to begin his tattoo career. Over the past decade, he has honed his skills in tattooing, illustration, and composition while working in several high-calibre studios across Australia and New Zealand.

Jim has a passion for pop culture tattoos — whether it’s gaming, movies, TV, comics, or anime. Get him talking about Star Wars timelines or Lord of the Rings lore and you’ll be in geek heaven!

Capable of working in any style — from full colour or black and grey realism to mandala and geometric designs, fine line florals, neo-traditional pieces, or freehand script and lettering — Jim is a well-rounded artist who can bring any idea to life.
